Club Football 2005 mit einem Club weniger!

Letztes Jahr erschie die mittelprächtige Fussball Serie Club Football über Codemasters. Das besondere daran, waren die unzähligen Fan-Editionen zu jeweils einem Club (Manchester United, Dortmund...). Nun will Codemasters dieses Jahr wieder mit der Reihe gegen EA`s FIFA und Konami`s PES antreten. Allerdings hat man schon im Vorfeld mit Problemen zu kämpfen. So wird es anders als angekündigt, keine Edition vom englischen Club Leed`s United geben. Anscheinend gab es Probelem zwischen beiden Parteien, ein Forumspost von Codemasters lautet:

“We have discussed at length with Leeds United about the forthcoming Club Football 2005 and, in light of development issues as a result of their relegation to the Football League, we have mutually agreed that we are not able to release a version of Leeds United Club Football this year.

I can confirm that we are NOT cancelling the relationship we enjoy with Leeds United and we will review the opportunity to release versions of Leeds United Club Football in the future.”

Die anderen Editionen werden jedoch wie geplant im Herbst ausgeliefert werden.
